My Darling Husband John "Johnny" as he liked to be called, He was a very Genuine & loving husband,father,grandad,brother,uncle & son-in-law who has deffinately "Gone Too Soon" and will be sadly missed by all his family & friends. You thought about others whilst you were suffering, I am so proud of you for raising money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation you were so ill & tired but nothing deterred you from your goal! which was to raise money for Sir Bobby who was putting it into a new cancer centre at the Freeman Hospital Newcastle -Upon-Tyne, I was so sad that you did not get to the opening of the cancer centre, you were too ill, I went & will never forget the words that Sir Bobby Robson said about you to the worlds press, he said he was so sad you were not there to see the opening & praised you to the hilt it was lovely, you raised around £23 thousand pounds in the year before your tired body finally gave in & you went peacefully to sleep with the angels above. My love for you my dear Johnny will never end it will grow stronger every day, I love & miss you so much, we shared so much together, my heart is broken, your loving wife Sheila.
